When Way of Marketing decides why and how personal information is processed for our own website, sales, billing, operations or business relationships, we act as the business or controller of that information. When we process personal information solely on a client’s instructions while delivering services, the client may be the business or controller and we may act as its service provider or processor. Requests involving data controlled by one of our clients may need to be directed to that client.

Call Tracking, Recording and AI Receptionist Services
Calls to numbers displayed on our website, advertisements or client campaigns may be tracked for attribution, quality, training, security and service purposes. When enabled and permitted by law, calls may be recorded, transcribed, analyzed or summarized. Callers may interact with an automated or AI-assisted receptionist that can collect information, answer approved questions, route calls or support scheduling.
Recording and consent requirements vary by jurisdiction. We seek to provide notice or obtain consent where required, but clients using our call and AI services are also responsible for configuring and using those services lawfully. If you do not wish to provide information to an automated system, you may ask whether a human follow-up option is available.

Payments, Memberships and Subscriptions
Payments and recurring subscriptions may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal when offered. Payment-card information is submitted directly to the applicable processor. We generally do not receive or store full payment-card numbers, but we may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing contact information and limited card details needed to administer the account.
Payment providers process information under their own privacy policies and contractual terms. Subscription records may include plan name, price, status, start and expiration dates, billing cycles, invoices, payment attempts and cancellation or renewal information.
